Siye is a rising senior and has been a helpful member of the Illini Solar Car team since last fall. She has played a large role building and soldering PCBs for Argo. She’s also had a hand debugging the boards when problems come up. One reason that Siye likes the team is because of its diversity. There’s something for everyone and always more to learn from each other and from Argo. At the American Solar Challenge, she is looking forward to the road trip and stargazing, as well as getting to know ISC members from other sub groups. She’s also excited to meet other solar car teams and see their cars. Siye will be helping with navigation and race strategy on the road. This year she worked as a Power & Electronics Laboratory Undergraduate Assistant.
