Joel joined Illini Solar Car back in 2016 and is one of the aerodynamic designers for the team’s next car. He has liked “having the ability to work on an experimental concept and getting the opportunity to see it come to fruition.” Joel is currently looking at the aerodynamic shell of Argo and seeing what we can improve upon. He is excited to take part in ISC's first competitive race at the American Solar Challenge and to connect with people from other solar car teams. Joel will be helping with transportation of Argo and also keeping everyone updated on social media.
