James quickly became a leader on our electrical team. With his interest in circuits and power electronics, he realized how much of these concepts, that he was learning in the classroom, he could apply in the real world. He loves being a part of Illini Solar Car because he’s continually learning and working with others as a team to build something amazing. James spends his time working on Argos electrical system, specifically the lights. At ASC he will be troubleshooting any electrical problems and driving the convoy cars. Outside of Illini Solar Car, James is interested in hiking and photography.
